Director of Security for Clinics

The Director of Security for Clinics, Ambulatory Centers, Community Care and Virtual Healthcare Services(CACV) reports directly to the VP of Police and Security Services and provides the strategic leadership to effectively direct and manage the organization’s Security Program for 300+ CACV locations and all community and home-based healthcare service delivery. This includes physicians' group clinics, urgent care locations, and other ambulatory clinics. Incumbent also has responsibility for developing the strategy and plan to provide security support to the organization’s corporate facilities.

Responsible for the team expected to establish a robust CACV security posture while creating a welcoming and safe healing and working environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Incumbent provides direct supervision and leadership for a team of regional program managers and indirect supervision and leadership to a team of uniformed security officers supporting CACV while working closely and collaboratively with the organization’s Chief ofPolice who directly supervises those officers.

The incumbent also develops and supports the security program at corporate facilities through supervision of a program manager and in collaboration with the Chief of Police for police and uniformed officer resources, collaborates with the Security Directors who lead the Systems and Technology, and the Programs areas of the Police andSecurity organization to ensure the appropriate security assets and resources are applied within the CACV and Corporate Security programs establishing a robust security posture while simultaneously creating a welcoming and safe healing and working environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

Develops effective senior level working relationships with key CACV and corporate leaders. Jointly establishes organizational performance indicators and expectations. Intervenes appropriately when conditions pose an immediate threat to life, health, or property.

Develops and implements policies and programs that reduce security risks and create a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Incumbent develops and maintains a service-based culture among departmental staff and contractors that support the organization's operations, with the goal of the Police and Security Team serving as "Ambassadors" and becoming a differentiator for the organization.
