The Regional Security Manager is responsible for managing the safety and security procedures to protect our associates, assets, and customers while on our property or while associates are performing their work activities. This role conducts research to identify best practices and policies across various areas within the organization. Once established, the security manager documents and communicates the procedures and ensures associates are trained.
Job Responsibilities
- Recommend, document, and manage security protocols for our associates.
- Implement ongoing security-related training on a regular basis to promote a safety and security-minded culture.
- Maintain up-to-date in industry best practices and trends related to the physical security of people and resources.
- Coordinate and communicate procedures with senior leadership, operations, Human Resources, and other functions as needed.
- Function as the initial responder to internal security incidents. Work with law enforcement, external agencies Primo Brands operations, and senior leadership.
- Review reported security-related incidents and work with operations and other departments to mitigate future risks.
- Staff, schedule, and manage contracted security guards when appropriate, in extreme circumstances.
- Ensure compliance with local and federal laws and regulations.
- Develop and adhere to a physical inspection schedule to validate proper security protocols in place.
- Mentor and develop team members, encouraging professional growth and skill development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, business administration, or related field preferred.
- Law enforcement or military experience could be considered a plus.
- 3+ years of security or risk management-related work
- Excellent written, verbal, and people skills
- Strong technical ability and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid Driver's License
